Acoustic Weather Hoods

These can be designed as an elbow, cowl or quasi-anechoic termination to redirect, reduce and absorb sound energy while protecting from rain, snow and other debris. These can be used alone when appropriate or in tandem with a silencer for a very effective noise reduction package. Precise engineering is done to ensure proper airflow, allowable pressure drop, and correct angles for the application and conditions. Large and heavier items will be fit with engineered lifting lugs and other options as required.

Birdscreens are often applied to keep out vermin and large debris.
