Nois-eNvelope™ Acoustic Panels
dB Noise Reduction® Inc. designs and manufactures custom Nois-eNvelope™ Acoustic Panels that are a
nominal 4" thickness for optimized acoustic performance, strength and longevity. Special thickness
panels from 1" to 12" can also be constructed in the Nois-eNvelope™ system, with 2" being another
more common thickness. The Nois-eNvelope™ system typically uses a tongue and groove connection fit
for most applications, which maximizes the deflection strength of the panels in assembly.
- Nois-eNvelope™ panels are typically 8' - 10' in length but can be made up to 20' long for extreme
applications - consult the factory when long panels are required.
Nois-eNvelope™ system panels can be tuned with various acoustic media components and materials to
suit the acoustic requirements of an application. Panel systems are fire rated and tested by a
third-party independent NVLAP accredited laboratory to current acoustic and performance
standards.
- Nois-eNvelope™ systems also incorporate Nois-eNvelope™ man doors and equipment doors to almost any
practical size. When combined with a silencer package for intake air and exhaust/emissions, they
form a comprehensive and complete noise reduction building system. These systems can also be
used for acoustic plenum applications.
- Nois-eNvelope™ panels are also the core component on acoustic barrier wall systems and
effectively keep noise absorbed and contained on the equipment (noise generating) side, while
preventing noise from passing through to the quiet side.
- Nois-eNvelope™ panels are also designed to be installed on wall surfaces to control reverberant
sound energy in mechanical equipment rooms, or exterior mechanical equipment yards to control
environmental noise. They have also been used on large heavy industrial applications such as
HRSG's and other high-noise environmental applications.
